How It Works
Many small and medium-sized businesses
now tend to outsource their payroll system because they
do not need or want to be involved with the hassles
that come with running your own payroll.
Although there are a number of ways it can work, the
main procedure tends to be that the company will provide
details on a weekly or monthly basis to the payroll
provider. They will then process your payroll and send
back the payslips with all the calculations complete,
including net pay, PAYE
and National Insurance.
Many of the payroll providers also handle the year-end
returns, which include P35, P14 and
the P60’s.
